In Art this term, all pupils in Year 7 created their AP2 practical final pieces. The project was based on their own personalities, and they used printmaking to convey these. All pupils have learnt three new printmaking techniques; Stencil, Polytile and Mono printing. They demonstrated excellent tenacity and adaptability when learning these new processes.

All Year 8 and 9 pupils have completed their Expressionist Portraits project for AP2. This required great tenacity and courage to draw their own portraits using a new material (oil pastel) in a challenging artistic style.

The most successful final pieces will be selected and displayed around the school. Please take a look at these on your next visit to the school. Well done to all the young artists at AJK!
