Prostate Cancer UK’s Cycle Challenge
Thursday 09 June 2022
Max, in year 13, took part in Prostate Cancer UK’s Cycle the Month challenge throughout May. He committed to cycling 300 miles with the aim of raising £300 for charity, enough to fund a blood test for someone with prostate cancer.
Max decided to take part in this challenge after his grandfather died of prostate cancer. He said, “I think people underestimate the good they can do, and this was a great opportunity to raise money for charity while doing something I’ve come to enjoy. I didn’t cycle much before, but by doing this I feel like I’ve found something that I’ll definitely keep up.”
Max has smashed through his initial target and has raised over £500 so far. If you would like to donate you can do so at: https://cyclethemonth.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/max-cronshaws-cycle-target.
