ARK John Keats Academy goes exploring in the forest

Friday 16 May 2014

Children and staff at ARK John Keats Academy had a fantastic time on their trip to Butterfly World and Epping Forest. The Children got to see how caterpillars turn into butterflies and even had the chance to hold some insects.

It was great to see the children exploring in the forest, looking for mini beasts and collecting materials to make their own mini beasts.

Outdoor learning is a very important part of our Early Years curriculum. It’s amazing what can be learned by looking into the long grass, up at the sky or into corners where spiders weave their fantastic webs.
