WONDERFUL WORK OF THE WEEK

As part of their Shakespeare unit, pupils learned about supernatural creatures from English folklore. They read all about Robin Goodfellow, the character that was the inspiration for Puck, the famously mischievous fairy from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Following that, pupils were asked to write a description of another creature from English folklore: a hag, a bull-beggar, a firedrake, or, in the case of the work below, a spoorne.
