Y9 Options Evening

Monday 14th January is Y9 GCSE Options evening at 5.30pm in the Assembly Hall.

This is an incredibly important part of their academic career, where the pupils make their first choices as to the direction of their education.

The pupils will hear about Key Stage 4 curriculum and how GCSEs work, before each Head of Department shares information about what their GCSE course involves.

Pupils will learn about the skills and knowledge they’ll develop, what courses and careers long term it could lead to and what learning will look like in the subject.

There will be the chance to ask questions at the end, and follow up with individual teachers after.

All pupils must attend in school uniform.

Everyone will receive their options choice booklet and options form on the night, and will have follow up discussions with their tutor during ARD on Tuesday or Thursday.

Any questions should be directed to Mr Mackintosh.
