One of the most popular additions to our enrichment programme this year has been cooking. Ms Lacey and Mr Mackintosh have donned their aprons and dusted off their cookbooks to show our pupils how to cook. Pupils have learnt how to make a wide range of healthy and easy recipes, ranging from omelettes and spaghetti bolognaise to Christmas cakes. The quality of the outcome has varied with some students finding it more challenging than others. However, the recent omelette making session was excellent, with pupils demonstrating real growth mind sets when working on a new skill and producing some well-presented and tasty omelettes. We are delighted that our pupils are learning this invaluable skill through our enrichment programme.
