On Thursday 28th January, Year 8 pupils had their second English and Drama Curriculum Day. In November, half the year group went to the V&A to study set design and then went to watch Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre.  Half the year group stayed in school and had a workshop with a director who had worked for the National Theatre, a set design mask-making workshop and a scriptwriting session. This time, pupils swapped and got to experience either the trip or the in school workshops. Both days were a huge success with pupils being able to experience and understand a range of roles within the theatre. The pupils were a credit to the school. They showed curiosity, adaptability and responsibility whilst visiting the museum, watching the show and whilst working with visitors to the school.
