Wonderful Work in Computer Science

This term, Year 10 have continued their Computer Science journey by learning about computer systems. They have looked at examples of peripheral devices and found out about the different types of software too. In addition to this, they have found about how storage devices such as hard disk drives, solid state drives and optical disc drives operate and have learned about the differences between RAM and ROM.

Currently pupils in Year 10 are learning about the components of computer processors and how data is processed in the Fetch-Execute cycle.

We have been astounded at how Year 10 have continued to demonstrate responsibility and independence by maintaining their exercise books to a very high-standard, and look forward to their continued success with Computer Science!
