Oliver Twist

Year 7 students are working hard for their exciting production of Oliver on Thursday 13th December!

All the classes are rehearsing their scenes and learning their lines in drama. They are now practising on the stage and they are very excited to show their performances.

In music, all classes are rehearsing their songs and practising their actions to get ready for the show. They have been learning all about how to project their voices and use their diaphragms to create an excellent singing performance.

In the second half of the Oliver performance, we will have our music Christmas concert where you will get to hear from all of the great musical ensembles including choir, AJK band, musical roots and African Drumming enrichment! We are really proud of the many different musical ensembles we have at AJK and as well as preparing for Oliver and the Christmas concert, we have also been busy with ark trips and rehearsals. Please see below for the other upcoming events and do consider joining an ensemble! Instrumental lesson sign-ups are also now available and we have a new rap and drum teacher, contact Ms Morris or speak to your music teacher if you are interested in getting involved!
